Fusion Community Set to Vote on How Best to Resolve Wallet Theft of Sept 28

Three options have been presented by the Fusion Foundation on how best to move forward following the wallet theft from September 28.

At its core Fusion is an open-source and decentralized network, the Foundation believes that it is imperative to ensure that the community is given a voice to determine any actions that significantly impact on the network.

Who has Voting Power?

All Fusion wallets that contain native FSN token will be eligible to vote, except for wallets controlled by the Fusion Foundation.

Fusion has issued voting tokens based on the snapshot of all wallet address on the Fusion network at block height 597,531. Voting tokens have been distributed at a 1:1 ratio based on how many FSN tokens are contained in a wallet address.

Note: The total voting tokens received by a wallet address is equal to the quantity of all complete native FSN tokens + the quantity of ‘back-end’ time-lock native FSN tokens (time-lock tokens containing a ‘date until forever’).

How to Vote?

Voters will have the option to send voting tokens to three wallet addresses that correspond the three options presented by the Foundation to resolve the wallet theft.

Send your voting tokens to the address that corresponds to the option that best represents your view on the corrective action required to best resolve the unfortunate wallet theft.

Voting is open now. All votes must be submitted by October 11, 2019, Beijing time 24:00.
