Dear Fusionites,

Please see below the FUSION teams responses to the top 3 most upvoted questions on Reddit from the 26/3/18–30/3/18. Check out the thread here.

The next Reddit AMA thread will be opened from the 9/4/18–13/4/18. We look forward to seeing the next round of questions!

1. Relative to the scope of the project (which is huge), the community still feels fairly small. What plans do you have in the pipeline to help grow the community?

Currently we have a decent-sized and engaged community. The chat is generally well-focused with little spam and mostly constructive and productive conversation. When it comes to community growth, rapid increases in community size are often accompanied by a deterioration in the quality of the conversation. Indeed, often fast growth and large communities as a result of bounties, referral programs, hype marketing lead to spam and chaos. By the same token it is incredibly important to have a large, strong and smart community. We recognise the need for significant growth and are exploring lots of options for growing the community.

At the same time, Marketing efforts are being increased with professional branding ‘look and feel’ improvements and a website redo on the way. Lot’s of PR activity and events being attended by the core team and the FUSION name definitely being proliferated globally.

2. Are there any partnerships being worked on currently?

Yes, as we said in the last AMA. We are exploring 4 types of partnership at this moment. 1. Blockchain Project Companies/Foundations 2. Financial Institutions 3. Academic Institutions 4. Application Development Companies. In each category, we are approaching and being approached for collaboration by potential partners. We will announce when confirmed.

3. Could you comment if you have ongoing relationships or support from the Chinese government? Given the Chinese government’s excitement about blockchain technology, I’d expect that this project gets some support from them?

Yes, Chinese government pays a lot of attention to blockchain technology. PBOC (People’s Bank of China) setup a dedicated team to look into blockchain technology. CSRC (China Security Regulatory Commission) have also organized a meeting inviting blockchain experts including me to contribute to the discussion of future possible policies. But what I want to tell you here is that blockchain is a world class technology. And FUSION is a world class project, with employees in US, China, Isreal, Singapore, aiming at providing cryptofinancial services to anyone, anywhere in the world. We will try to leverage the social connections of our supporters and advisors to approach any possible governments including China. So far we don’t have any solid agreements with government yet. Please stay tuned and we will announce if any cooperation agreement with government is signed.
