Key Team Members Join FUSION
Fusion is excited to announce two more key people that will be joining the FUSION team — Charles Poliacof and Joey Kheireddine. Some of you may already know Joey from his presence in our community channel and the Community Web page he created. Joey has agreed to undertake a community ambassadorship role towards the Developers communityCharles has joined us more recently and will become Fusions Executive Director for Strategy and Industry Adoption — please read on to know a bit more about the backgrounds of these two very special people, and join us in wishing them best of luck as they join us!
Charles Poliacof
Executive Director, Strategy and Industry Adoption
As Executive Director and Leader of the Industry Adoption team, Charles will oversee all of the firm’s strategic and growth initiatives as well as partnerships and alliances. He brings with him 15 years of experience in finance and entrepreneurship. Previously, Charles served as Chief Revenue Officer at Visible Alpha where he was responsible for building and overseeing the commercial arm of the organization including sales, marketing, support, account management and strategy. Prior to Visible Alpha, he was part of the founding team at ONEaccess (acquired by Visible Alpha in 2016). Prior to ONEaccess, Charles was a Managing Director at Novus where he focused on sales, growth and business development. Prior to Novus, he was Co-Head of Trading and a Portfolio Manager at Centurion Investment Partners until its acquisition in 2011. Charles Co-Founded Applied Analytics building technology for automated trading strategies. Charles started his investment career at the Schonfeld Group. Charles is also very passionate about philanthropy. He founded and is Chair Emeritus of the Junior Board of Seeds of Peace, and previously served on the advisory board of the non-profit, Portfolios With Purpose. Charles holds a holds a BS in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Stony Brook University.
Joey Kheireddine
FUSION Developers Community Leader
As leader of the Developers Community for Fusion, Joey will be supporting and guiding all developers planning to use Fusion’s platform. Joey became interested in IT and started coding at a very young age, and is currently studying Computer Science in The Netherlands. Joey is already considered a Full Stack Developer, and is fast expanding his knowledge. After learning Solidity and writing dApps he now decided to make use of his social skills and teach others and support them.
Joey has already demonstrated a passionate and meticulous approach to the tech projects that motivate him. Prior to Blockchain Development, Joey focused on E-Commerce and Flight Simulation and spent several years building a 1:1 real life Boeing 737 Cockpit, complete with full deck of physical instrumentation and controls. Having been an early and close follower & believer in Fusion, Joey also initiated and created the Fusion community website.
With a bright look on the future, Joey believes that Blockchain is a revolutionary technology and fully intends to continue investing a lot of his time and effort in it.
